Blogging for Money

If your interested in blogging for money I think I should warn you of some of the pitfalls you may indure. Many people build small niche sites to generate adsense revenue, which is a rather effective method. However it seems odd how few people look to blogs as potential for being niche sites. It's simple pick a topic, put a ton of content on your blog and throw in an affiliate program like adsense ro clickbank and presto you're in business. It's probably best to use a blogging software that uses categories like wordpress, and set your post to a daily archive. In a sense the blog has become a mini niche site. I have to warn you though blogging for money is not as easy as it sounds, since the blogospere(amount of people blogging) is growing at such a fast rate. A good percentage of the blogs out today are spam blogs and contain content scraped from other site's or posted using a automatic posting software like RSStoblog. It's a highly competive game so pick your niche carefully if you hope to earn a significant amount of money. There's also the writing aspect of blogging for money. It goes far deeper than just providing good content. Here's a few things to consider, 1.What will be your writing style?(readers will often come back to blogs if they like the authors style and ability to provide a welcoming place to gain information) 2. Will you be able to maintain regular post to your blog? (which I'll admit I've done a poor job of on this blog in particular) 3. Will you be able to blog about the topic of your blog for an extended period? (It's okay if you don't know much about your topic, but you must be willing to learn all that you can). 4. Will you be able to respond to comments ,and questions posted by your readers? These are just a few things to consider I'll go into detail on this topic in a later post.

The 1 Click Wonder

A few weeks ago I opened my adsense account to find a big Zero. I had recieved no clicks for the day, I suppose it was because of the holiday season. However despite my misforturne there was a light at the end of the tunnel. The following day I received only one click, but it was the highest paying click I've received thus far. I'm not sure which ad it was in particular, but I've decided to revise my strategy, and put a little more focus on the keywords I've used in my articles. Hopefully the work will pay off.

Despite the lack of post to this blog I have been still in the hunt for adsense glory.  My real job has been keeping me quite busy these days, however I still manage to update, and provide my sites relatively good content.  My adsense earnings are still very poor, but I think I can attribute that too the lack of Internet marketing these past couple of weeks.  Thought I haven’t done a lot of promotion for my sites I have spent a great amount of time on the Internet, and came across some great resources.  One such resource is a blog I mentioned in an early post title http://onedollaraday.blogspot.com/ .  The writer is seeing a lot more success than I am currently, but he has a slight edge, because of the software he is using.  I on the other hand chose a different route, and am sticking to mainly free or almost free tools.  Another good site to checkout is http://gurugazette.com/ . The site moderator seems like she knows what she’s doing, and talks about the different ways one can earn money online.  Meanwhile I’ll continue to grind at every opportunity possible.

This Adsense Stuff Sure is Hard!!!!!

Sorry for the lack of post ,but please don't think I've given up on my goals with adsense. It seems as though there are not enough hours in a day to accomplish all that needs to be done. Despite my lack of time I did manage to work more on improving my adsense profits, and found a few people on the Blogger.com network who have the same goal. You might want to check out onedollaraday.blogspot.com. The author of the blog has set a goal of 100 sites all generating $1/day. He seems to be coming allowing nicely, and has provided me with alot of useful resources in my journey. Also take a look at infogoround.com for useful articles, and content package's.

We're In Business

Since my last post I've been searching the net for ways to increase traffic to my sites in order to increase the amount of clicks I've been receiving. So far I haven't had a whole lot of success. I've taken the advice of various forums,and sites that I've visited, and left comments along with my site address in hopes that it might improve my traffic. One such site was ,webcontentprovider.blogspot.com the articles there were very helpful,and provided me with a lot of information.
After leaving comments on a few blogs I tried joining public groups and forums that were relevant to my site content. I left a few messages on the message board of each group, which all included a link to my sites. It's only been a week or so, but I'll keep you informed on how that's working out.

Another way I used was through the various link exchange programs. Most of which are credit based systems in which you earn credits for every site you view. If you want more details you should check one out, there are dozens out there. I'm currently using TrafficSwarm. Despite my poor traffic rating I still have reason to rejoice, because I saw my first profit this past week. Of course it wasn't a lot ,and by a lot I mean I can't exactly go to McDonald's and splurge on 3 quarter pounders instead of two. However small the amount though I am truly happy to see that the system actually works. Now it's time to figure out how to make it work on a grander scale!!!!!

Welcome to Adsense Beginners Day 1!!!!!!!!!!

First things first I am not some kinda of adsense guru seeking your money or fame. Im just a simple guy trying out this "Adsense Phenomenom" I've been hearing so much about. This blog is for everyone associated with Adsense, and any type of webadvertising programs. Feel free to share your experiences, as I will share mine, and hopefully the work we all put in will be a success. This is day one of my adsense ventures and, I have several blogs with relatively good content(atleast I think so)all of which are running Google Adsense. So far I have yet to see a profit,but I'm hoping that with the help of this blog,and the theory that two heads are better than one, three better than two etc. I will soon have some kind of success. Join me as I make my day to day rounds exploring the internet looking for tips ,and information on making my blogs and websites all that they can be.
